What can a ball screw actuator be used for?

The ball screw actuator is a product that combines a ball screw, Linear Motion Systems, rotary bearing, and motor mounting parts into a compact unit, making it easy to replace machinery and equipment that combines these individual parts.

Compared to combining single parts, the design (selection) labor and centering labor required for design and assembly can be reduced, and the U-shaped guide rail makes the entire unit compact (see Fig. 1). In addition to using it as a single axis, by using mounting parts such as angles and tombstones, it is also possible to use 2- to 3-axis units in X-Y combinations (see Fig. 2 and Fig. 3), X-Z combinations (see Fig. 4), or combinations of two single axes used in parallel (see Fig. 5).
