How to check the dimensions and tolerances of thread gauges
Common thread gauges are as shown in the table below. Please refer to each one.
The latest version of JIS can be viewed on the website of the Japanese Industrial Standards Committee (JISC).
We recommend that you keep JIS and JIS handbooks in a safe place even if they are old standards.
