What kind of screw gauges are standard screw gauges? Please also tell us about its usage.

A standard thread gauge is a set of gauges in which a thread plug gauge and a thread ring gauge fit together precisely.

When talking about thread gauges, limit thread gauges (go/no go gauges) are the norm, but standard thread gauges are a set of gauges in which a thread plug gauge and a thread ring gauge fit together precisely.
Compared to limit thread gauges, which inspect the upper and lower limits of product dimensions by "go/no go", standard thread gauges inspect the degree to which the product "goes through".
In addition, since the dimensions of standard thread gauges are made based on the standard thread shape and standard dimensions of the thread, they are also used as a standard (master) for comparative measurements.
In the case of large diameters, special threads, and products with low production volumes, they are more cost-effective than limit thread gauges.
However, limit thread gauges do not function as no-go gauges, and wear between the gauges affects the fit of the product, so they are not as effective in quality control as limit thread gauges.
